Why the pain?

One of the main reasons that patients come to see us here at Balanced for Life is to get out of pain.

Pain can be the result of a specific injury, but many times pain seemingly comes out of nowhere. In either case, pain is a signalling system to us that something in the body needs to change.

Our job as chiropractors is to investigate the underlying factors and functional roadblocks that are causing your pain.

What we often find is that pain is often a result of lifestyle factors.

Factors such as:

  • prolonged periods of sedentary posture

  • poor breathing patterns

  • tension in the body from chronic stress

  • inefficient movement and joint loading patterns.

You can live with these less-than-ideal habits for years but have no discomfort. But eventually, these underlying issues may be too much for your system, and as a result, you begin to experience pain.

Many times, symptoms are the last thing to appear, which thankfully means they are the first thing to disappear.

Here at Balanced for Life, while treating your symptoms is important for us, our primary goal is to correct the underlying problems.

How do we address these underlying problems and lifestyle factors?

  • Chiropractic adjustments to restore proper movement to your joints

  • MLS Laser to improve oxygenation and blood flow to your muscles and tissues

  • Supplements to improve your biochemistry

  • Rehab exercises to improve your posture and stabilization and help you move better

The things that get you out of pain are the same things that allow your body to function more efficiently so that you can live a healthier, pain-free life and balanced life!

When patients realize how great they feel when they come to Balanced for Life, they choose to continue with care to ensure those underlying issues don’t return. They understand their bodies function better with regular tune-up and when they stay on top of their rehab exercises.

We are here to keep you balanced for LIFE!
